Compared to Friday and yesterday, today was kind of ho-hum. By any other yardstick, it was amazing!
Mike Rundle, co-owner of RAWCON along with Matt, Kyle and the other guy who wears the classic Canadian t-shirts (yesterday Blue Jays / today, Molson’s I Am Canadian), stripped the forms and loaded them back on the big rig. The job was done in about 6 hours. These guys are machines.

Meantime, Banton power-washed the old foundation walls so they’re clean for when the old and new are tied together.
Late afternoon. Mark prepped the break off rods with mastic, and fingers crossed, tomorrow they will be able to waterproof. His work brings to mind that of Joan Miró.
