At long last …prepping for the tile.
September 1 > Dave starts pulling up hardwood.
September 2 > Before heading to the Kuntzie Cottage for the long weekend, he threw down some FlexSnap which is used in place of a second layer of subfloor which reinforces the floor, helps level the surface, plus secures and protects the cable where floor heat will be going.
September 4 > Upon returning from the cottage, he threw done some more.
September 5 > His #1 Bill The Thrill McMichael, was on site to assist with completing the FlexSnap install in the main hall. In a coordinating shirt ta boot. He drilled ~5,000 screws to properly secure the FlexSnap, while DB ran the wire.
Then they tackled the front hall. Removed original tile. Beefed up the subfloor. Put down plywood. Finished with FlexSnap.
