It was with a heavy heart and much gratitude that we had to say “So long Sammy” on Friday. For him, it was likely the best day of his life!!! The Sam & Dave Show has come to a close and we are going to miss everything he brought these past months – energy, excellent work and ethic, and most of all the hilarious drama that always ensues when he is around! We are fortunate indeed!

It was fantastic that his last day was spent working with Pat and Dave to get the GD chimney stone done. Carrying water, mixing mortar, lugging stone and mortar up the scaffold, sweeping the joints, etc., etc.

Dave mixed mortar, measured, cut and chipped the stones, loaded it all at ground level, Sammy hiked it up and Pat put everything in place.

On Saturday, Brock was back, the scaffold came down, then he and Pat started on the Master Bay. DB cleaned the area and did more water sealing getting it ready for the roofers. CHEERS!

…more siding was done…

…and another window was installed.

And finally, Dave and Kyle Black were back on site to fix (hopefully) the water drainage issue. A bigger job than one would ever imagine.
