September 18-25 Drywall Complete

Scott Collins of PJSC Drywall and his son Dustin began hanging the board on August 23. They completed the final sanding on September 23. Longest month of my life and I spent 2 weeks of it in Naples.

Our house looked like a scene from Dexter…

but it wasn’t enough to keep the dust contained…

While Scott finished up the sanding on Friday, Dave began priming and nephew Eric Reitzel started the clean up on the main floor scraping the gallons of drywall mud off the floor, sweeping and vacuuming. They continued on Saturday while I tackled cleaning up the 2nd floor.

It was a TON of drywall work for a team just 2 people, and even though it did not go smoothly, I think the end result worked out well.

Pat and Brock continued with the stone and got most of the sills in.

Dave knocked off a little shaking and some siding earlier in the week.

And finally, it was time to say Good-bye to Patrick and Luke. The metal work is done and the roof is now 100% complete!

Awesome.
