Finally, after 3 days of rain, there was a small window of decent weather to do the grading and lay the foundation for the sod.

The demo bin was removed, dumped, filled with topsoil and returned to the scene. Then the ConTRAPPtions moved in. (Sorry, couldn’t resist.)

Dave discussed the plan with Marty Trapp and Kyle Black for about 5 mins…

…and then they went at it. First they filled the large planter box.

Next, they started laying the soil from there, and filled the smaller planter boxes.

Then it was time for the “Last Stone” – the giant armour stone that has been all alone out front since early December.

And the final push.

After that, they knocked off the west side and took away the clean fill.

Brought in some more topsoil, and then the rain came. Again.

What a massive step forward!
