From June 17 to July 17, DB had 5 days in Naples, 12 days in Ireland, 3 days in Toronto and a couple rounds of golf in the hood. Work on 588 was sporadic.
Pre-Ireland
On June 23 – after Florida and before Ireland – Joseph Walser delivered the very long, custom-crafted oak beam caps he fabricated for the Great Room and Master Bedroom. He also helped Dave with the installation. A full day on the 23rd where they finished the Great Room.
And a 1/2 day on the 24th, tackling the Master Bedroom.
He shut it down early on Saturday so we could get to Ancaster to witness THIS guy tie the knot. Jeep – one of IQ’s favourite design team alum. Congrats toJamie Philp and his lovely bride Laura Palumbo!

Monday, June 26 (aka Bunnybuster)
It was time for the first mowing of the new lawn. Dave started up the lawnmower, and scared the bejeezus out of these 3 little guys.

He put them back by their den, held off on the cutting and all was well.
Eventually he was able to mow the lawn, finish the closet, and hang our first house flag in honour of Canada’s sesquicentennial and he then was off to The Emerald Isle.
Happy 150th Canada!
