Super Dave was on his own this weekend. Three Chamber of Commerce Days in a row and he chooses to knock a few things off his list, over relaxing and playing some golf.

Sunday May 22: Pot lights
Home Depot for hole saw, pot lights and wire.
Measure and determine locations for pot lights.
Cut nine 3 1/4″ holes.
Make Patrice (with her scrawny arms) find and pull wires through said openings.
Struggle to install housings in same holes.
Swanson’s Home Hardware for wire staples and connectors.
Banhattan.
Monday May 23: Master Hallway Opening & Misc.
After rerouting the TV cable to the temporary den upstairs and installing a new shower head, Dave thought, “Why not go ahead and open up the doorway into what will be the breezeway into the Master? I’ve got a few hours to kill before Corinne’s (Tallon niece and bride to be) non-shower at the Cairns’ this afternoon.”
Install plastic barrier to keep dust and debris in check.
Cut out door frame, studs and plaster.
Sweep up then install new header and frame in wall.
Cut away balance of plaster and lathe.
“While I’m at it, how about I frame in the opening for the new hall closet?”
Lunch.
Clean up.
Head to party.
No pictures of the Banhattan? I’m sure Carl would enjoy those! 🙂
