Absolutely astonishing! In just under 7 weeks, Dave and the Marty Trapp Brigade knocked off the Phase 1 To Do List:

• Demolition
• Tree Removal
• Excavation
• Footings
• Foundations
• Framing

PLUS, they helped install all of the windows and doors that were available to go in.

For the first time – in the more than 3 decades Dave has been involved in construction –the job was finished waaay ahead of schedule. Even more remarkable when you consider the framers’ start date was delayed a week due to bad weather.

Hats off and a huge thank you to Marty, and in particular Dave Black, who oversaw every step along the way with the utmost care and attention to detail. (Marty is in BC this week with his daughter Chloe, celebrating his son’s graduation from Simon Fraser – Congrats!)

She ain’t pretty quite yet, but she’s well on the way.
