Super Dave finally had some downtime at the annual Kelly Cottage Extravaganza weekend which helped refuel his tank!

The stone masons finished the brick work over the weekend so Dave and Sam were able to frame in the frieze board around the whole house. A small detail with big impact tidying things up.

Sam went about installing the ceiling vents while Dave painfully waited in line at Service Ontario to renew his license and OHIP card on Tuesday.

The siding was ordered, Dave met with another Pat (drywall) and Steve the pool builder to go over specs, and many miscellaneous jobs were knocked off: garage pot lights, ice and water shield tweaks, 2 bathroom fans installed, bedroom window seat framed in, old hall closet opening drywalled and the powder room window was installed.

And saving the best news for last, Pat and Brock slowly but surely began making their way up the chimney. Pat’s eye for stone placement is excellent!
