October 30-November 6 Backyard Progress

Winter is on its way but you would never have known it by mid-week. Temperature swings from -5° to +20°. Steve and his boys made the most of it getting the finish coat of cement on the pool.

And the stairs were finished (nosing/gravel/rebar/gravel/wire mesh/cement).

Ryan and Mark ran the gas line to the pool house location and the coping stone pads went in with help from Curtis (forms/gravel/rebar/gravel/wire mesh/cement). Now we wait for the liner to be made.

Meantime, Marty and Kyle excavated the terrace areas, brought in gravel, graded the yard  and most of the construction fence came down. So. Much. Better!

Brian the tile contractor popped in to waterproof the two shower stalls. He’s going to be working on our job between gigs he already has slated so we picked up the porcelain tile needed for the guest ensuite – ready to rock.

Dave did some trim in the Master on Saturday…

…and with Sunday being a day of rest, he decided to take it easy and just do a little door cleaning. You really can’t appreciate how filthy they were from the photos but the difference is incredible – those birds better watch out.

While he was busy cleaning the back of the house, Pat and Brock were doing the opposite out front.

Soooooooo close to having ALL the stone work finished!
